Ken Wakasa
Over 30 years of large-scale software development and technology leadership at companies including Google, Apple, LINE, Mercari, and Sony. Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Engineering from the University of Tokyo. Deep technical expertise combined with executive-level strategic thinking.
Ken founded and led Mercari's Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India, building an engineering team of nearly 80 from scratch. He continues to bridge Indian tech talent with opportunities across Asia through advisory roles.
As CEO of Sakurabunsha LLC, Ken provides Executive Advisory and Technical Advisory services to multiple companies and startups, also serving as External CTO where needed. He brings a unique blend of global engineering experience and cross-border leadership.
